Practical High Impact Strategies for supporting SLCN in EYFS
Are you looking for high quality training resources to share with your Early Years staff?
Would you like practical evidence-based training that can start to impact on your children's communication development straight away?
Wouldn't it be great to have some 'just hit play' training resources to use, that your staff can access even if they can't make your session? And that you can have lifetime access to, so you can share it with new staff or use it as a refresher?
I had great feedback on this session when I presented it at Havering Early Years SEND conference, and was asked to make it available in a recorded version for staff training. I hope it can support your EarlyYears setting too.
Angharad
I am an experienced Speech and Language Therapist and trainer, and have worked with lots of Early Years settings to develop knowledge and skills in their staff. Everyone can make an impact for a child with SLCN, and Early Years is especially suited to the information I present in this course.
This course is 50 minutes of recorded content, plus handouts and downloadable tools to help you identify and implement practical changes in your setting.
The aims of the training are:
- Your staff will be able to identify a range of interaction strategies they can use to support children with SLCN.
- Your staff will be able to identify simple changes to the Early Years environment that they can implement to support children with SLCN.
Create a great 'communication friendly environment' in your setting!
"I have been working with children a long time (I have the grey hair to prove it!), but I always learn something from Angharad's training!"
